I had such an amazing experience horseback riding here! The guides were extremely friendly and professional, and the horses were so gentle. We got to ride in across a creek and ended at a high point with beautiful view of Arenal volcano! 100/10 experience

The experience was amazing! I went with my mom who has almost never ridden a horse before (outside briefly to pose for pictures). The ride was a little bit bumpy because we were going through the mountain up and down but fairly easy to manage as all the horses were very gentle. Alonso went with us - not only did he explain a lot of horse riding techniques to us but also has taken tons of pictures and videos for later on. There was a short snack break before the tour was over, which was much needed for my sore butt. Amazing experience and my mom and I had a lot of fun! Thank you Alonso, and thank you to our horses, Bayo & Paloma.

The whole family enjoyed the walk. We found birds, poison dart frogs and birds. The trail was very well maintained and enjoyable for all. I highly recommend

Amazing experience - the ride was very relaxing, going through fields and river and a light snack with the view of Arenal volcano. Horses and guides were great!

We had so much fun on our recent excursion!! We had two guides and they were awesome. One even took my phone to take pictures and videos, which I truly appreciated. They do this every day, but truly make sure everyone has a great time and kept safe. My children had a BLAST. We wish the weather was nicer, but still had a great time.

We had so much fun with this experience. It was so well organized and the horses were so well trained! Our guide took amazing pictures and videos for us and we got fresh coconut water at the top. First time riding a horse and it was super easy!

We were in great hands! From cleaned and disinfected helmets to authentic coconut-water (from real coconuts) snack at top viewpoint, this horseback ride was top drawer. I especially appreciated seeing the horses rinsed down after our muddy and humid ride. It was reassuring also to see the tack (saddle, reins, etcetera) cleaned, too. Our guide was firm with the horses but gentle, too. They weren’t barn-sour old nags. Would have been nice to see the top of the volcano, but it was a fun time nonetheless. I thoroughly enjoyed myself; the smile never left my face! And I’m a critic by nature!

The tour guides were attentive at matching horses to riders and leading us up the trail. Understandably the horses are extremely familiar with the route. One of the guides pointed out attractions and took pictures using our cameras. While we enjoyed the view of the lake and volcano, the time at the viewpoint is a little too long and actually boring. The route back to the barn is exactly the same as the way we came up. Didn't see anything new. We would have enjoyed a different route down the hill.
